Eligibility
USITT National generously supports scholarships that cover conference registration for two students in each USITT regional section.
Students wishing to apply must meet the following criteria:
- Currently registered in an undergraduate or graduate program in theatre or entertainment technology.
- In good academic standing with a G.P.A of 3.0 or higher.
- A current member of USITT Intermountain Desert Region. Student memberships: $10. Click here to join
- A current member of USITT National (or willing to register as a national student member in order to attend)
Application & Review
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of USITT IDR Board Members appointed by the region chair. Panel members are committed to the utmost objectivity in their review process.
- Application deadline for 2022: Friday, February 18 2022.
- Preference will be given for first time attendees.
- Complete the Google Form application and upload an unofficial transcript and one page application letter
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- Notification of award will be made in time for early registration.
Application Letter
Application letters should address the following in addition to the required question in the application form below:
- A brief summary of your educational experience in technical theatre, design, and or entertainment technology (one paragraph or less.)
- What do you hope to gain from attending the conference?
- What are your long term career goals and aspirations?
